Preparing for chemo and radiation can feel overwhelming, but taking it step by step can help make the process more manageable. Consider reaching out to your care team about what to expect during treatment, practical preparation tips like organizing support for daily tasks, and connecting with others in this community who have been through similar experiences - their insights about everything from comfort items to managing side effects can be incredibly valuable.

No one is ever prepared on this journey. I was diagnosed in May and told I was her2+ and er+ and from day one getting chemo, surgery, radiation and other drugs. Chemotherapy was tough but I learned ways to cope. Keep lots of Imodium handy😊. Pedialyte pops are wonderful. Take stuff to do during treatment. I took my tablet with books and games and slept a lot. Had some cancer left in nodes after treatment but no evidence of disease in breast so opted out of radiation and starting on next phase of drugs next week. Keep your sense of humor and take everything one step at a time. Ask lots of questions and do your own research. You are stronger than you think.
