Getting ready for surgery can feel overwhelming, but starting your preparation early gives you the best chance for a smooth experience and recovery. Most doctors recommend beginning pre-surgery preparations about 1-2 weeks before your date, which includes following any dietary restrictions, stopping certain medications if advised, and arranging help for your recovery period at home.

Oh God bless you and keep you safe through your surgery and your recovery. I want to add to the list of things that people are suggesting and that is preparing food for yourself, and freezing it for those days when you can't function. Always thinking healing foods, fresh salads and vegetables are almost completely prepared these days. Good luck through your surgery and your recovery and the mountain before you

Blessings and prayers sent your way. Don’t overdo, your body needs rest to heal.

Prepping food is always a good idea. Think about blending soups to get them through straws (you may not want to raise your arms too high). ((Hugs))
