a month agoHad surgery, even though the stitches aren't big, how long to stop feeling the pain from the stitches

a month agoStitch pain after cancer surgery typically lessens gradually over the first few weeks as your body heals, though everyone's recovery timeline can vary. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences about managing post-surgical discomfort, so you're definitely not alone in wondering about this part of recovery.

20 days agoI’m asking myself the same question! How long is this pain going to last?! It’s been 3 weeks since my surgery and I’m in more pain than I anticipated at this point - still taking meds and relying heavily on ice packs. If you’re not using ice packs, give them a try. Good luck!

3 days agoIt took at least a month or more. My 23 staples were hot and even after they came out at 2 weeks after surgery the whole wound was hot for a long while. Not infected by they way. Just always felt hot like burning.
