Hi everyone. Did anyone have the Goldilocks done? I had mine done 3 weeks ago. It just seems like it’s taking forever to heal.

Healing timelines can vary greatly from person to person, and three weeks is still quite early in the recovery process for this type of procedure. Recovery can feel slow when you're going through it day by day, but your body is working hard to heal during this time. Consider reaching out to your surgical team if you have specific concerns about your healing progress, and feel free to share more about your experience here - many community members find it helpful to connect with others who have gone through similar procedures.

I had it, and one came out OK and one didn't.

I had bilateral Goldilocks done 9/23. Side that had prior radiation is healing more slowly and developed seroma that I have had drained weekly. Initially ~150ml, last aspiration was ~ 20ml. Doing arm lifts to shoulder level and massage. I did nipple sparing so there will be a follow up surgery to remove remaining breast tissue left in place as blood supply for nipple gets well established.
