Hi, everyone. I’ve had this app for awhile just haven’t written anything. I was operated on November 28 , 2024. I just had a small lump. They also removed lymph nodes but it had not spread. I did radiation for about a month. Then I started the 5 year pill. I’m supposed to get another mammogram this week but been sick so I might change it. I’ve had one mammogram since surgery, only side that was operated on. This time will be both sides. It’s been over a year, still sore hope goes away soon. Any one wants to talk I also have facebook under Marzullo in chambersburg pa. Take care everyone.. I hope everyone is doing well.

Soreness lasting over a year after breast cancer surgery and radiation is something many people experience, and it's completely understandable to wonder when it might improve. The healing process varies for everyone, and factors like the extent of surgery, radiation treatment, and individual recovery patterns all play a role. It's great that you're staying on top of your follow-up care with regular mammograms, and hopefully connecting with others here who have similar experiences will provide some comfort and insights during your recovery journey.

Getting ready to have an abdominal biopsy of suspected abdominal tumor. This will be the third time I’ve had an adenocarcinoma if this biopsy’s positive. It’s about the size of a large grape they tell me and I’m hoping to have radiation this time rather than chemo.
