Anyone have any input on how painful the dye injection is before the lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy?

The dye injection (sentinel lymph node mapping) can vary from person to person - some describe it as a brief pinch or burning sensation, while others find it more uncomfortable. Many people report that the anticipation is often worse than the actual procedure itself. Your medical team will work to keep you as comfortable as possible during this important step. Others in this community may be able to share their experiences to help you know what to expect.

That procedure hurt more than the biopsy and the lumpectomy.
