3 months agoMy husband is recovering from base of the tongue cancer. 7 wks of radiation and 5 once weekly chemo completed May 2nd. Swallowing is finally improving and secretions have stopped. Main problem now is lymphedema of neck. He just started pneumatic compression at home . Any one familiar with this? Thanks

Pneumatic compression can be a helpful tool for managing lymphedema, and many people in the cancer community have found it beneficial as part of their recovery routine. It's encouraging to hear about the progress with swallowing and secretions, and addressing the lymphedema is definitely an important next step in the healing journey.

2 months agoMy husband is having biopsy for tonsil cancer and 1 lymph node next week, read lymphedema can g happen after treatment, hopefully it will ease up for your husband. Was his radiation very hard on him? Trying to find out what my husband will go through soon. Dr thinks 6 weeks radiation and maybe 3 chemo sessions!
