2 months agoHi. My name is Juanita, my son has stomach and esophageal cancer. He went for surgery on the 13 of August to have his stomach removed. They couldn't remove it. Now we're making sure he is comfortable. I just want to know what's the next things he will be going through.? What do I have to look forward to?

This is such a difficult time, and it's clear how much you care about providing the best comfort possible. Many families in similar situations find it helpful to connect with palliative care teams who can guide you through what to expect and help ensure comfort remains the priority. The community here understands this journey, and sharing experiences about comfort care and end-of-life support can provide valuable insights from others who have walked this path.

2 months agoHey Juanita, every journey is personal. Just let your son be in charge of his journey and support him in any way you can. Let him know that he's one of the most important people in the world to you. You will have your own journey along with him. Knowing that you were able to love and support him will be with you forever and will provide comfort for you in your personal journey. I'll keep you and your loved ones in my thoughts!
