How does Keytruda work with inactive colitis?

2 months agoI have stage three non-small Cell lung cancer. They found it in March. It is now August. They wanted to set me up with chemo radiation and immunotherapy. I had chemo, which was carboplatinum and premixed had a severe reaction only 1 to 5% people get the kind I had and can no longer take it. Has anybody tried keytruda who has inactive colitis and how did that work? They’ve given me 6 to 12 months and it’s already been five. Would love to hear from anybody thanks. My name is Susan.

a month agoKeytruda was not my friend. I ended up with Adrenal Insufficiency because of it. But, that was me. My Oncologist would tell you "if anyone is going to have a sideceffect - its Joy". It is good for most people.

a month agoI’m on my fourth round of Keytruda. Almost no side effects. Just a little fatigue. I have a PET SCAN scheduled in Oct to see if it has helped.

16 days agoThis is my 2nd go Around after 4 years of being NED..8 Cisplaton 45 Radiation...After Being Re diagnosed..I Refused Any Chemo and Radiation...Never Again..They decided to administer Standalone Keytruda..and Whalaa they stopped my Infusions after my 9th infusion of Keytruda..and said ( QUOTE).The Keytruda Seems to have knocked this on it's Ass..all your scans are Showing NED and it's been 6 Months as of now..I still do follow up scans about every 3 Months..but so far so good...Anyways .Yes ask your Oncologist about Doing Stand Alone Keytruda 👍
