2 months agoGetting ready for hipec surgery. What should I expect?

2 months agoHIPEC surgery preparation typically involves several important steps that the medical team will guide you through. These often include pre-operative testing, dietary restrictions, bowel preparation, and detailed discussions about what to expect during recovery. The surgical team should provide specific instructions tailored to the individual case, and it's helpful to write down questions beforehand to make the most of those conversations. Many patients find it valuable to connect with others here who have been through similar experiences to learn practical tips for the preparation process.

a month agoOne of my friends had hipec surgery for a type of colon cancer. She is doing well. She is 1.5 years survivorship. She does have some residual pain that might be scar tissue.

a month agoThat's great news. Make sure you get the best nutrition in that you can. Walk, deep breathing exercises for your lungs . Get quality sleep if possible and keep as much stress out of your life as possible. Blessings to you.
