a year agoI just saw that insurance is supposed to to cover post mastectomy bras and prosthetics. Does anyone know how Cigna regal deals with this?
Accepted Answer
Cigna generally does cover post-mastectomy bras and prosthetics as they're considered medically necessary under federal law, though specific coverage details can vary by plan. It's worth calling Cigna's customer service line with your plan information to get the exact coverage details, prior authorization requirements, and approved suppliers - having this information upfront can make the process much smoother.

6 months agoYou will need a script from your oncologist or surgeon. I found a lingerie business close by that processed the script and insurance for me.I also received a wig from the American Cancer society. I made an appointment to visit their office. Look for one in your area.
