Has anyone had someone impacted by this new news of insurance not covering DIEP surgery?! I’m so mad.

That frustration is completely understandable - insurance coverage changes can feel overwhelming, especially when it affects important reconstructive options after cancer treatment. Many community members have shared similar concerns about DIEP flap surgery coverage, and it's worth noting that coverage can vary significantly between different insurance plans and providers. Consider reaching out to your insurance company directly for clarification on your specific policy, and your surgical team may also have insurance specialists who can help navigate coverage questions or explore alternative options.

Not yet but it makes me mad too. IMO this is one of the safest options with awesome outcomes. With all the news of women getting sick from their implants this is not an option that should be taken away!
