Hi, my name is Lonnee Dickson and I have metastatic breast cancer HER positive. I am currently on Costco fluent and periodic Xgeva IVs. I have had six drains of fluid out of my right lung cavity and recently had a TALC procedure, where my lung was operated on and sealed with a toke solution and the robot attached my lung to the sides of my plural. I no longer have fluid collecting, but I’m still undergoing treatment and still have several areas in both my right left lung that are malignant tumors right now it’s stable. I’m just hoping that nothing gets worse. I’m wondering if anyone else has had the lung surgery

Thank you for sharing your experience with the TALC procedure and your current treatment journey. This type of lung surgery is performed for patients dealing with pleural effusions, and connecting with others who have undergone similar procedures can provide valuable insight and support. Many community members have faced various surgical interventions as part of their treatment plans, and sharing these experiences helps others understand what to expect. Hopefully, others who have had similar lung procedures will see your post and share their experiences with recovery and outcomes.
