This surgery journey sounds significant, and it's completely natural to want to hear from others who have walked this path. While experiences can vary widely from person to person, many community members find it helpful to connect with others who understand what this type of treatment involves. Hopefully, others here will share their experiences and insights to help you feel more prepared and supported.

I was diagnosed with Ovarian ca in July 2025. I had a total hysterectomy, removal of spleen, gallbladder, and omentum. Then had HIPEC treatment which added 2 hours to the surgery. Total surgery time was 7 hours and I was an in patient for 3 weeks. Followed up with 3 more rounds of chemo. The surgery was in Dec 2025 and I’m now in remission and feeling great! I’ve read that the HIPEC treatment has gotten good results. Good luck and I’ll be praying for you. I could not have done as well as I did without my God and my family.

Hi, I saw your post and really hope your HIPEC journey goes well. I truly believe a positive mindset can make a big difference during this process, along with having an experienced medical team.I know every case is different, but I recently learned about someone with a similar condition who chose to have treatment in Chengdu,China. The whole process was well arranged,so they could focus more on their care and recovery while also enjoying the local culture and scenery. How are you feeling now?Have you started your HIPEC treatment?
