I've been having crazy bad nightmares ever since my bilateral mastectomy. I feel like I haven't had a good night's sleep since before surgery Is anyone else experiencing this or am I the only one. Does anyone have any ideas of how to make it stop I'm talking to a therapist three times a month and I'm seeing a psychiatrist and taking Klonopin and I wake up at like 5:00 a.m. in the morning or 4:30 in the morning because I'm just grateful to be out of the dream and I'm afraid to go back to sleep which makes for a very long day

Nightmares and sleep disruption after major surgery like mastectomy are more common than many people realize, and reaching out for support shows real strength. Sleep troubles can happen for many reasons after surgery - from medication effects to the body's natural stress response during healing. It sounds like you're already taking important steps by working with both a therapist and psychiatrist, which can be really helpful for addressing sleep issues after cancer treatment. Many community members have found relief through various approaches, so sharing experiences here might help you discover what works best for your situation.
