21 days agoI'm currently dealing with several challenging symptoms including pain, nausea, depression, insomnia, and shortness of breath. My medication list includes Oxycodone and Norco (hydrocodone plus acetaminophen) for pain, Ondansetron for nausea, Furosemide for fluid buildup, plus Iron and Vitamin D3 supplements. Managing all these symptoms together feels overwhelming sometimes, and I know I need to stay in close contact with my oncology team about adjustments. I'd love to connect with others who have experienced similar multiple symptoms during their cancer journey and hear about your experiences. • How did you cope day-to-day when dealing with several symptoms at once? • What helped you communicate effectively with your care team about symptom management?

21 days agoManaging multiple symptoms simultaneously is one of the most challenging aspects of cancer treatment, and reaching out to connect with others who understand this experience shows real strength. Many community members have found that keeping a daily symptom journal helps them track patterns and communicate more effectively with their oncology team about what's working and what needs adjustment. Creating a simple routine for taking medications and scheduling regular check-ins with healthcare providers can also help make the overwhelming feeling more manageable day by day.

21 days agoI recently contacted my team ahead of an appt, to inform them that I had difficulty with breathing during my radiation and tightness like compression in my chest, then also saw dark stool. My Dr called and encouraged me to go to ER. Had endoscopy which found ulcers, kidneys were out of whack. Bone scan for the tightness in the chest areas identified areas of concern snd metastases could not be ruled out. CT of chest was also done. Radiation was stopped and I was placed on verzenio and metropole. Tightness is chest persists. I had a dbl mastectomy November 3rd 2025 and tightness began late November. Has anyone else experience the chest restrictions after dbl mastectomy?
