This is definitely a question that's best discussed with your medical team, as the timing and approach for diagnostic procedures can depend on many individual factors specific to your case. While growth in a fibroadenoma understandably raises concerns, your doctors will be able to guide you on the most appropriate next steps based on your complete medical picture and their clinical expertise. Have you been able to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss these options with your surgeon or oncologist?

3 months agoHey Rinku, in my opinion, you are the only one who can make the correct decision for you. A tactic that I have used is to ask the following question, if I was your family member, what would you encourage me to do? A growing probable fibroadenoma is certainly something that should be investigated. But the degree of invasiveness is something that only you should be able to decide, along with guidance and support from your health care providers and your loved ones. I'm not suggesting that anyone make these kinds of decisions in a vacuum or without input but you are the one who will be most impacted by this decision and you should be comfortable with it. Please reach out to your loved ones and the care team available to you and make sure that you have the best decision for you. What's right for you is not necessarily right for my mother or sister. I wish you and your loved ones all the best and I hope you can be at peace with your decision. Take good care and let us know how things progress.
