2 months agoA year ago I had a total hysterectomy due to serous endometrial cancer. I had 5 rounds of chemo ( my Dr and I decided my body couldn't handle another round). I was hospitalized 2 times. I had an allergic reaction to one of the drugs at my 1st chemo and it literally almost killed me. I couldn't eat much at all so I lost 70 lbs. I had really bad neuropathy which made it impossible to walk. I have just started walking now...a year later. I won't go into detail but my husband had to do things for me that I had to give up my dignity. Thank God for him. There's way more to handle than I ever imagined. Sorry for being so straight forward, but I wish someone would have prepared me for this. I hope things work out for you. Good luck. Oh yeah... CANCER SUCKS!

2 months agoIdk but I. All about cutting any cancer out . After ten years clear , my aggressive breast and thyroid cancer are back. What was my chemo , radiation and surgery for ? If they said chemo and surgery , I'd do it . Don't wait . I think that grows faster than other cancers ? My oncologist is no help .I'm here a year later , refusing chemo again and in denial that I only going to be here ??? They aren't God ! I'll be here til he calls me home and that's gonna be awhile !😎

2 months agoHi Laura, I don’t know much since I am just getting started myself. I am grateful for my Gyn Oncologist cause he is good. I am waiting to have a full hysterectomy to be properly diagnosed so I wish you the best in finding a good Oncologist. Eileen 🦋

a month agoResearch the diseases, but don't go down Dr. GOOGLE'S rabbit hole. Be open with your doc, take advantage of any services your team has to offer. If need be get a second opinion. I think everyone's journey is different. It took me a while and still does , to wrap my head around my diagnosis. I too have a serious. , aggressive and rare form of Uterine cancer. Develop a support team who can help you, go with you to appointments, treatment.sessions Those who can help with shopping, cleaning, cooking. Pray, if you find that to be helpful. Rest when you need to. Take good care, I'll be praying for you and that you have a good outcome. Robin
