I am going to have a lumpectomy on Wednesday with reduction afterwards. I am praying when they do this none of the nodes are positive. My head is spinning since this is all within a month since I found out I have cancer

Sending thoughts of strength and hope as Wednesday approaches. Having everything happen so quickly can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural for your mind to be spinning with all these changes. The waiting and uncertainty around results can be one of the hardest parts of this journey. This community understands that mix of hope and worry, and many here have walked similar paths with surgery and recovery.

I had lumpectomy with contra reduction same surgery. I had to have drains bc I was DD/E and went down to AB. The drains were the worst part. Hope all is negative for you!

I had partial mastectomy/ reduction of other for symmetry..I would highly suggest you see a physical therapist early in your recovery. The doctors make it sound like its a simple surgery...you can still have cording and tissue issues, ROM issues. Also I did not know that there are actually oncology physical therapists. Look for that. I can't emphasize the importance of it. I don't understand why this isn't standard of care.
