Accepted Answer
There are several types of abdominal reconstruction techniques available today, and surgical approaches continue to evolve based on individual patient needs and circumstances. Speaking with your surgical team about the specific reconstruction options they recommend for your situation would be the best way to get detailed information about current techniques and what might work best for you.

6 months agoI can't speak specifically to this surgery as it relates to breast reconstruction but I did have a tummy tuck about 15 years ago. It was an extensive one. My surgeon never told me ( or at least I don't recall the conversation) about nerve damage. So I have limited feeling in my lower abdomen area. I've gotten use to it at this point but ever once in awhile when I itch in that area it's so odd because I try to scratch the area that itches and it fits no good
