I got a double mastectomy my surgery was 7/24/23 they placed the tissue expander but, 9/4/34 I had another surgery because I got an infection and the surgeon removed the expander of my right breast and later 2/26/24 he placed the implant directly I don’t know if that is correct I didn’t have an option to choose a size of my breast. Now my right breast is feeling tide and looks like ugly

Recovery from breast reconstruction can feel overwhelming, especially when complications arise and the results don't match expectations. Many community members have shared similar concerns about tightness and appearance after implant placement, and it's completely understandable to feel frustrated when surgical options felt limited. Consider reaching out to your surgical team about these concerns, as they may have suggestions for managing tightness or addressing your questions about the reconstruction process.
