I am wondering if anyone went from implants to flap microsurgery? It has been a year since my implants. They are uncomfortable and I have capsular contracture. I just met with new PS who recommended microsurgery with thigh flap. If anyone went from implants to own tissue, how do you feel about the results?

The recovery was brutal but it was seriously the best decision. I am beyond thrilled with my results. My boobs feel so real…they are even warm (IYNYN)!!

I had one implant and two years ago decided to go for preventive mastectomy and reconstruction of both breast using belly flap. I couldn’t be happier about it.
