Has anyone had multiple breast reconstruction surgeries?

I'm kinda nervous about my reconstruction surgery for the second time. My stitches popped while I was in bed at night and scared me. Went in for emergency surgery, they had to take out the implant, and re-do stitches with drain tube. I was mainly wondering if anyone has had reconstruction surgery from the center for restoritave breast reconstruction surgery x 2 locations. Is it any better than getting a flap from the side can't remember the name or how are they.

Multiple reconstruction surgeries are more common than many people realize, and it sounds like you're going through a challenging recovery process. Many community members have shared experiences with different reconstruction approaches, including both implant-based procedures and flap reconstructions (like the latissimus dorsi flap you mentioned). Consider sharing more details about your specific concerns so others who've been through similar experiences can offer their insights and support during this difficult time.

I do not have any experience with the center you are inquiring about. I just want to say that I hold you from a distance. What you are describing sounds terrifying. Can you explain how soon after your initial surgery you had this happen? I'm six weeks after reconstruction and I worry about this happening to me. I wish you the best as you heal.
