5 days agoI'm dealing with sharp pain along my surgical incision that goes from moderate to very severe at times. I know this is part of healing after surgery, but the intensity changes have been tough to manage. I'm currently taking Trazodone and SEROquel (quetiapine) which help with sleep and some comfort, but I'm planning to reach out to my oncology team about the severe pain episodes. I'd love to hear from others who've been through similar post-surgical recovery experiences and how you managed. • What helped you get through the ups and downs of incision pain during recovery? • Did you find certain strategies or approaches that made the healing process more manageable?

5 days agoManaging incision pain after cancer surgery can be incredibly challenging, and reaching out to your oncology team about those severe episodes is absolutely the right approach. Many in this community have found that combining medical pain management with gentle positioning, ice or heat therapy, and staying ahead of pain rather than waiting for it to peak can make a real difference in the recovery journey.
