a year agoIs anyone else having odd nerve pain on different parts of their bodies when hot flashes happen? I am having nerve pain across my abdomen, chest, lower back and knees. As soon as the hot flash subsides the pain goes away. These are usually only at night. Other hot flashes during the day are only on my neck and ears and feels like I’m on fire.

Many people experience nerve-related discomfort alongside hot flashes, and the pattern you're describing—where pain appears with the hot flash and disappears when it ends—is something others in the community have shared about. This combination of symptoms can be particularly challenging, especially when they disrupt sleep, so bringing this up with your healthcare team would be a good step to explore what might help manage both the hot flashes and associated discomfort.
