I am also HER2 positive stage 1A with 4 clean lymph nodes. My tumor was small, 8 mm. I am having “ light” chemo with targeted therapy because of the aggressiveness of HER2 positive. My doctor said if the tumor was smaller than 5 mm I could have skipped chemo. I had a lumpectomy so I’m having radiation. I’m looking into proton radiation therapy. I haven’t had an appointment for that yet. Since you had bilateral you might be able to skip radiation. Maybe this information will help. Good luck with your next step.

Started Tamoxifen, definitely not feeling the greatest. Extremely fatigued and nauseous. Hopefully this will pass but dang I feel horrible right now. Any suggestions to help alleviate these type of symptoms?

I have this same diagnosis and had an infection in both implants with it getting so bad I was close to septic so both are now removed and I am starting to feel much better. Now they found something in my uterus so that biopsy comes next week.
