Yes I had my right kidney removed last October 30th. Under going immunotherapy, every 6 weeks. The side effects are bearable. Mine was stage 3. I will be praying for you 🙏

I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer seven years ago. Unfortunately it was not operable. I’ve been receiving a immunotherapy and TKI’s since then. I am stable and able to get along with my life. Immunotherapy has its downsides, but they are minor. The TKI’s have their downside which can be a little more challenging ( nausea & diarrhea) but manageable with meds. Im thrilled to still be here and I wish you luck with your journey.

I am having a nephrectomy on October 6. Urologist sent me in for a CT Lung Screen today, and they found 2 suspicious spots. I am also a 5-year breast cancer survivor. I am only 59 and feeling very defeated today.

Sending thoughts and strength as you begin immunotherapy treatment next week.
