Why won't my doctors perform a mastectomy for metastatic breast cancer?

Hi Everyone, Has anyone had an oncologist and or breast surgeon refuse to perform a mastectomy? I am MTNBC, diagnosed almost 1 yr ago. Chemo wasn't successful so now I'm on Trodelvy (ADC) and Fulphila. I always wanted a mastectomy as I see my implants as the root of the problem and the breast as food/fuel. They said the cancer is already spread so no sense operating. Maybe so, but why can't I get tumors removed? Thanks for your opinion.

Why do my hands go numb at night after cancer treatment?

What happens when you have a severe Xeloda reaction and need to stop treatment?

Just got pulled off the xeloda. Bad reaction for the 2nd time but this one kept me in hospital for 9 days. Going to bathroom up to 30+ times a day. Had to log it. With 4 medications and morphine every 4 hours for the pain. All my organs were inflamed. My body couldn't handle it even at a half dose. Finally home feeling about 30% better. Dr says it will take a good while to get over this.

Hi, Everyone. I haven't seen comments about Trodelvey lately. Any one on it now? I've been told to expect severe diarrhea and that leaving the house will be challenging. Anyone else experience that?
