Why won't medical lawyers take my TNBC surgery complications case?

I had TNBC and when doing the surgery, my surgeon didn’t put in a drain. I kept getting pneumonia and after the 4th time - I was hospitalized with sepsis and almost died. I’ve been trying to get advice from a Medical lawyer, but no one will take my case…smdh

Why does my port hurt and when should I be concerned?

Port pain! Has anybody experienced any port pain? I have been experiencing pain on the third day of the port being placed not at the site, but in the middle of my chest towards my throat right in the dip where my collarbones are. When I take a deep breath or exhale completely or try to burp or laugh I feel pain a sharp shooting pain with pressure like gas is trapped in my chest. Sometimes when I bend over,or sit upright it doesn't come up. It's sporadic. Has anybody experienced that? I had a chest x-ray done and a CT scan done that day. I was supposed to have my first chemo session, but they paused it because of my discomfort. Everything came back fine but I don't know why I'm experiencing this? Is it my mind manifesting something or anxiety/panic?

How are others handling their first chemo cycle with minimal side effects?

Just diagnosed late Feb 2026 two visible lumps rt top side of rt breast and rt arm pit. 3/12 first round started pembrolizumab (Keytruda), doxorubicin (doletaxel), and cyclophosphamide (carboplatin) treatment is repeated every 21 days. Today the 14th no side effect other than high glucose yesterday. Normal today. Blessings.

I'm currently receiving breast cancer treatment with Adriamycin (doxorubicin), cyclophosphamide, docetaxel, plus Herceptin (trastuzumab). I've been dealing with some challenging side effects including very severe fatigue, severe constipation, and severe dry mouth, along with mouth sores and digestive issues. My oncology team is aware and helping me manage these symptoms. I'd love to connect with others who have been through similar treatment experiences. • What helped you get through the toughest days when side effects were really affecting your daily life? • Do you have any practical tips for managing severe fatigue and other symptoms during this type of treatment regimen?

Has anyone been to Rogel Cancer Center at U of M? How fast does treatment start?

Has anyone here had experience with the Rogel Cancer Center (part of the University of Michigan medical system) in Ann Arbor, MI? I have my first consultation appointments there next week (march 16) and wondering about how fast treatment starts after those appointments.

What to expect starting Red Devil chemo for TNBC? Any tips?

I was diagnosed in November 2025 with TNBC stage 2 Grade 3, just finished phase 1 of chemo and getting ready to start phase 2 which is the Red Devil and I must say I'm a little nervous but am trusting God. That's all I have is God and my husband. Any pointers?

Should I consider skipping chemo for TNBC with lymph node involvement?

I was diagnosed with two types of cancer TNBC & DCIS. I also had a partial mastectomy/lumpectomy to remove the masses. I was told that I had clean margins and no need for surgery, but the TNBC has started to invade a lymph node in my breast. It has not spread to any other lymph nodes. However my oncologist is suggesting the aggressive chemo regimen. I have an appointment next week for a port consultation, and Echo to determine my fitness for Chemo, and a PET to see if it has spread in the body. I feel like I’m being rushed to start chemo even though they said they got everything. I would like to hear if anyone else opted out of chemo and are going well. Like is there no other way to beat TNBC? Why isn’t targeted stereotactic radiation therapy suggested?
