Treatment decisions for triple negative breast cancer can be complex and depend on many individual factors that only your medical team can fully evaluate. Many patients in this community have navigated similar treatment choices and may share their experiences with different surgical approaches. Consider discussing the specific benefits and considerations of lumpectomy versus other options with your oncologist, as they can provide guidance based on your particular situation, tumor characteristics, and response to treatment. This community is here to support you through these important decisions.

A lumpectomy was planned following first 22 wks of chemo and immunotherapy. Tumor shrunk quickly and treatment is shortened to 15 wks. But my port got infected and caused sepsis. So now everything is on hold until I am cleared of staph.
