Cancer pain can be unpredictable, with good days and difficult days often coming in waves without a clear pattern. Many people in this community understand how frustrating it can be when pain returns after a few better days, and it's completely natural to feel discouraged. Speaking with your healthcare team about pain management options might help provide some relief and better strategies for the challenging days.

You should have anti nausea pills prescribed.

Sherry and Joyce, I also had prescriptions for higher doses of zofran and compazine. I deal with autoimmune gastritis that caused a precancerous stomach… the meds helped a lot and I only used them on rare occasions. Enteric coated peppermint oil caps or IB grad helps with nausea and severe indigestion too. I also have script for Carafate but limited use to not deter absorption of necessary therapy.
