6 months agoHas anyone else here received keynote 522 regimen for TNBC stage 1 still waiting on the brca test to come back but they Recommended 24 rounds chemo followed by surgery then radiation and then back to I believe it’s oral chemo? If so how did it work out for you and how bad were the side effects ?
Accepted Answer
The KEYNOTE-522 regimen is a comprehensive treatment approach that many TNBC patients have questions about, especially regarding what to expect during the process. Each person's experience with side effects can vary significantly based on individual factors, so connecting with others who have been through similar treatment paths can provide valuable insights and support. Consider discussing any specific concerns about side effects or the treatment timeline with your oncology team, as they can help prepare you for what lies ahead and provide strategies to manage potential challenges.

6 months agoFinished this in December. So far so good. I did 32 rounds, surgery and then 9 radiations. No oral chemo for me. Some people have it so bad, but except for neuropathy and some fatigue, I had no problems. I really did everything not to get neuropathy but I still did. It’s seems to be getting a little better but I don’t think it will ever fully go away. The fatigue usually lasted a day or so. Hang in there!

3 months agoI was skeptical but I am finding acupuncture helpful in combatting fairly serious neuropathy I developed with infusion chemo.
