My Journey with Early-Stage Breast Cancer

September I was Dx with TNBC, after MRI, PET, biopsy and a double mastectomy. My mass was only 9 mm, 4 mm withdrawn from biopsy and 5 mm was removed in the mastectomies. It was a zero stage, no treatment.

Thank you for sharing this update about your breast cancer journey. Catching cancer at such an early stage can bring both relief and a mix of emotions as you process everything that's happened. Many others in this community understand the whirlwind of tests, procedures, and decisions that come with a new diagnosis, even when the outcome is positive like yours.

Strange. My tumor was 8 mm & I was a 1 b. Needed mastectomy & 4 months chemo. Cancer came back 2.5 years later, in a lymph node outside the breast. Taxol worked quickly to eliminate the cancer in the node. Treatment ongoing.

I was offered 3 rounds with Zero stage the 1st visit. I said no. The next visit it was said to be 1b or 1a?
