Many people in this community are navigating triple negative breast cancer at various stages and sizes, including smaller tumors like yours. Connecting with others who have similar diagnoses can provide valuable support and shared experiences - hopefully some community members will see your post and share their journeys with you.

a month agoMine was 2.5mm Negative genetic panel. Had lumpectomy with clean margins and negative nodes. No LIV. Recommendations from two cancer centers was radiation therapy with no chemo following the NCCN guidelines.

25 days agoAre you really meaning 2.5 mm? I didn’t even think that could be detected. Mine was 40mm.

25 days agoYes it was that small. No tumor detected on my mammogram just some changes from previous studies.

24 days agoI’m so happy for you that you caught it so early and have relatively minimal treatment! I didn’t have radiation because I needed bilateral mastectomies, so I can’t offer any advice. But I hope it goes as well as possible and you feel good!

20 days agoIn surgery, double mastectomies as recommended, my one tumor was two but total size 5 mm. Nodes clean at that time. The mammogram was clean, but the tiny tumor was only seen on MRI breast that I received for BRCA 2. I had Covid 19, a few months before feeling new breast aches. I didn’t initially require chemo or radiation and I was invasive ductal carcinoma BRCA triple negative aggressive and Ki score 95. I was stage 1, grade 3 pre op. Margins and nodes clean in surgery. Within the year I had regional Mets to one node felt that cancer was unusually found in my blood, and than required IV aggressive dosed chemo 6.5 months, surgery to remove node, oral chemo 4 months, radiation 15 doses, and now on a year of PARP inhibitor and 6 months PET scans… I’m doing well overall and keeping very active. Best advice is to stay positive and active, and praying is central in my life 🙏🙏🙏 all journeys are different.
