7 months agoHello everyone, I was wondering if after surgery has anyone experienced swelling of abdomen, legs, ankles. The breast I understand, but my stomach looks like I am pregnant?
Accepted Answer
Post-surgery swelling in areas beyond the surgical site can be concerning and varies from person to person. Many community members have shared similar experiences with unexpected swelling, and it's definitely worth discussing with your medical team to understand what's normal for your specific situation and recovery timeline. Your healthcare providers can help determine if this is part of your healing process or if it needs attention.

5 months agoI did. I have lymphedema post radiation, which was a few months after my mastectomy. I went to physical/occupational therapy for a few months. The therapist did lymphatic drainage massages and it worked pretty well.
