24 days agoHello! Anybody here have ER low-positive diagnosis? I'm posting here because they are (apparently!) often treated like triple negative. I'm ER low-positive (3%), PR negative and HER2 negative. Stage 1, Grade 2. 13 mm. I'm trying to figure out if chemo is likely, but this seems to be a "grey area". I've read research that says many low ER-positive tumours behave like Triple Negative and should be treated s such. Without the estrogen receptor, endocrine/hormone treatment isn't very effective so often they suggest chemo even if it's small and early stage. Anybody have experience with this? My tumour is small (13 mm) and early stage(1) and Grade 2. Anyone similar? I'm told this low-ER is not very common?

24 days agoLow ER-positive breast cancer can indeed present unique treatment considerations, and it's completely understandable to feel uncertain about what to expect. Many patients with similar diagnoses find that oncologists carefully weigh factors like tumor size, grade, and individual patient characteristics when making treatment recommendations, often using tools like genomic testing to help guide decisions. Connecting with others in this community who have navigated similar diagnoses could provide valuable insights and support as you work with your medical team to determine the best path forward.
