How did it feel to ring the bell after finishing chemotherapy?

Happy New Year everyone! To God be the glory, I rang the bell! In December of 2025 and have completed my last Chemotherapy Infusion. I start Radiation Therapy in January. I am focused and ready for 2026. Thanks to my team at Emory Winship, they’re the best at what they do.

What an incredible milestone to celebrate as you head into the new year! Ringing that bell represents so much strength and perseverance through a challenging journey. Moving forward to radiation therapy shows tremendous courage, and having a trusted medical team makes such a difference in treatment. Wishing you continued strength as you take on this next phase - many in this community understand the mix of relief and anticipation that comes with completing one treatment and starting another.
