12 days agoHas anyone been offered the Signatera blood test. If so what are your feelings about it

12 days agoThe Signatera test is a circulating tumor DNA blood test that some oncologists use to monitor for cancer recurrence, particularly in triple-negative breast cancer cases. Many community members have shared their experiences with this test, and it's completely natural to want to hear from others who've been through the same decision-making process about whether to proceed with this monitoring option.

4 days agoYes, I have done it 3 times now - before I started chemo, then every 4 weeks after. It shows how much dna from the tumor is in your blood stream and gives the doctors an idea if the chemo is working. I am happy to report that the amount was ZERO on tests 2 and 3! There really isn’t much to the test - it’s just another blood draw that gets sent out to a different lab. When you’re already getting poked on a weekly basis, it’s no sweat!
