Hi my name is Marcia. I had a hysterectomy on March 16th and they found leiomyosarcoma and a CT scan after surgery found nodules in my lungs and left breast. I just had my 1st treatment Thursday and so far I have only had 2nd day (Friday) less energy than normal. Last night got hit with diarrhea and so far today it's starting to slow down. I also this morning noticed I don't have any appetite. I haven't had any hair loss yet but anticipate it coming soon. I will have a CT scan after my 3rd round of Doxorubicin and Trabectedin to see if it's doing the job.

The side effects you're experiencing with Doxorubicin and Trabectedin are commonly reported by other patients receiving this combination therapy. Fatigue, digestive changes, and appetite loss typically occur within the first few days after treatment, and hair loss often begins within 2-3 weeks of starting chemotherapy. Many community members find it helpful to share their experiences with managing these side effects, so feel free to ask questions as you continue your treatment journey.
