My Endometrial Cancer Journey: From Diagnosis to Remission

My endometriol cancer was found accidentally in Oct 2022 while doing a scan of my kidneys. I. Nov 22 I had a hysterectomy and I was lucky it was stage 1a. Did 4 brachytherapy treatments and followed up every 3 months with either the surgeon or the radiologist. In Aug 2024 I woke up to vaginal bleeding and I knew that was a bad sign. Sure enough it was a recurrence. Clear cell carcinoma is a rare and aggressive cancer and by this time only 2 months since my follow up I was stage 4 metastatic cancer..Very quickly we started chemo and immunotherapy. Along with conventional treatment I did a zero sugar diet, very strict ketogenic, closer to carnivore. I fasted around all treatments starting after breakfast the day before the infusion until breakfast two days after... Total of 72 hrs. Just water and black decaf coffee. I lost 20 lbs I needed to lose. I developed colitis triggered by the immunotherapy which was treated with steroids successfully. We've resumed infusions of immunotherapy only every 3 weeks. A little tired but is it the heat or the immunotherapy? Otherwise no symptoms. I consult with a Dr Kesslering who left conventional medicine.. radiologist oncologist to help cancer patients increase chances of success. Had a PET scan Feb 25th and it shows no evidence of endometriol cancer. So the immunotherapy is insurance against a recurrence. Every 3 weeks, half dose. 🤞🤞🤞🤞. I credit diet and fasting for my success along with conventional treatment. Except for the diarrhea from the colitis very few side effects. That's my story. Hoping equal success for all of you. Diane

Thank you for sharing this incredible journey through such a challenging diagnosis and treatment experience. Your story demonstrates remarkable resilience through a complex path from initial treatment to recurrence and back to clear scans. The combination of conventional medical care with supportive lifestyle approaches you describe may be helpful for others to read about as they navigate their own treatment decisions with their medical teams. Your positive outcome after facing such a difficult recurrence offers hope to others in this community who may be dealing with similar challenges.

My endometrial cancer found October 21 had a full hysterectomy right now. It’s been stable in my notes for the past year. I can’t do chemo cause chemo won’t work so I’ve been doing a treatment called amino therapy and it’s keep my cancer stable in my lymph nodes for the past year

I had endometrial adenocarcinoma stage 1A grade 3 and it is an aggressive cancer I am told. This was diagnosed in Aug 2023 after a routine Pap smear found abnormal cells. Hysterectomy Oct 2023, 3 brachytherapy Dec 2023 and 6 chemotherapy Jan-Jun 2024. Was NED until Jan 2025 - recurrence, 1 chemo with an extra infusion and got real sick - 2 ER visits and a hospital stay. Told my oncologist STOP chemotherapy. Come Jun 2025 abdomen pain cramping along with bloating. CT Scan shows carcinomatosis and ascites in the abdomen - returning back to chemo (reduced dosage this time). I truly feel there is a more holistic/integrative way to cure cancer - but what is it?!

Watch Christy Kesslering on YouTube. I have been consulting with her. There's a whole group of people that treat Cancer as a metabolic disease. You will find the others when you watch some of her interviews. Very strict ketogenic diet, almost carnivore, and fasting around treatments...day before, day of, day after 72 hours. Some supplements to take and some to avoid based on blood work that she orders through LabCorp. Out of pocket but worth it. She's accessible for any questions between online visits with her. Maybe this is what you are needing/looking for. Also watch Katie Deming..similar path. Both radiology oncologists who left conventional medicine.

Uterine cancer was found in 2011. Went through both chemo and radiation (both internal and external). It was stage 4F. It has reoccurred and is in my lungs. Doing chemo now. My problem is the Nulasta shot that I get 24 hours after treatment. It's horrible and nothing stops the excruciating pain. Doc said Claritin and Motrin. No effect. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes RD. My PET scan in Feb showed no evidence of cancer. I have a treatment of immunotherapy tomorrow. I ate breakfast this morning and will be fasting for 72 hours. Reading Tripping over the Truth by Travis Christofferson.. also he is interviewed by Nasha Winters also well known in the field of cancer as a metabolic disease. Also Cedars Sinai hospital, well known cancer center and Sloan Kettering. I'll see if I can send the links. Just Google..fasting around chemo, keto for cancer Alot of stuff out there.

Dr. Nasha Winters website is metabolic matters. I just found a podcast where she is interviewing Christy Kesslering. I don't know how to send the link but you can find it on YouTube

Just found this site. I started bleeding August 29th, 2024. Sent down several “rabbit holes” before endometrial cancer diagnosed October 16, 2024. Had complete hysterectomy December 16, 2024. Doctors can’t agree: stage 1 or 2. However, they discovered I have the P53 abnormal gene that makes the cancer extremely aggressive. Wound up with severe diverticulitis February 25, 2025 and in hospital for 7 days. Delayed start of chemo until April 28, 2025. The nerve pain was unbearable, so the chemo was stopped. Just finished 25 radiation treatments (lots of abdominal symptoms, but, much more tolerable than chemo. I start brachytherapy in a week. I’m still working full-time, and it’s so hard to not see our kids! I’m praying for recovery for us all!

My PET scan July 31 remains cancer free.CA 125 was 10. Am dealing with some side effects fatigue being the worse..check your ferritin Mine was low and I'm resuming my iron supplements every other day as per protocol. Have an infusion next week. Convinced them to wait 6 weeks rather than 3. Fingers crossed.
