2 months agoHello, I'm new to the group just diagnosed in November 2025 had total hysterectomy stage 3a endometrial it was in the linen and spread to my tubes I was told didn't spread to muscles or anywhere else. But doctor still want me to do 6 sessions of chemo don't know how many sessions of radiation I'm undecided if I should just do radiation or some other alternative besides chemo or radiation, since ct scan didn't show any spreading any advice or suggestions.

2 months agoWelcome to the community! Treatment decisions for stage 3a endometrial cancer can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural to have questions about the best path forward. Many community members have shared that discussing their specific situation thoroughly with their oncology team, including asking about the reasoning behind recommended treatments and potential alternatives, helped them feel more confident in their decision-making process.

2 months agoHi Katina! How’s are you? I had total hysterectomy too in October 2025. Mine is stage 2c . I didn’t do radiation because I am also undecided. Next month is my 2nd follow up visit with my gyn-onco. I’m curious how that will go. You are not alone. For now I try to eat healthy lots of fruits and vegetables. I try to get enough sleep though I can’t get myself to sleep for more than 6hours. I am active physically walking a lot. I pray and try not to think too much. I pray that we can overcome this. God bless!

a month agoAll I can say from my experience is they cancer was contained within the uterus. Total historectomy to make sure it had no place to spread later. I could have had some radiation within the cavity after but my surgeon said he wouldn't recommend it because it then causes other issues. I went with his recommendation. I will have check ips for 5 yrs. I'm of course hoping cancer dosent pop up again. One never knows 100%

12 days agoRadiation can cause collateral damage to the bladder and nearby organs. Chemo does not get everything. Even after some stem cells are still there. I had 6 sessions of chemo for stage 4 endometrial cancer with a grade three tumor in order to debulk the tumor so I could have surgery. Thanks to God the tumor and lung mets are completely gone. No surgery. I have done a radical lifestyle change with diet, exercise, and alternative therapies with integrative oncology to make by body uninhabitable for cancer to grow again.
