15 days agothis morning was first radiation treatment - went well. It took about 1/2 hour start to finish, took 10 min or so to get me lined up and probably 10 more for the treatment. You just lie there and the machine moves all around you. 1 down 24 more to go.

14 days agoIt sounds like the treatment went smoothly and the staff helped you get positioned properly. Many people find it reassuring to know what to expect with the process, and it's helpful that you shared how the timing worked out. Wishing you continued smooth treatments as you work through the remaining sessions.

11 days agoDiagnosed with Endometrial Cancer Stage 1....Hysterectomy in October2025, Chemotherapy February 2026 last treatment June 12th 2026. According to my Oncologist I went through Chemotherapy good...no throwing up or nausea, had appetite didn't lose weight or gain, bloodwork good no neuropathy. I spoke with a nutrition every month and there was fatigue(but sometime I willed myself and sometimes veg out) I had to put off a knee replacement but was still able to get my knee injection good for 3 months. Now my downside lost hair cool with that I had locks...my boyfriend shaved my head said I looked cool and I too thought so....no wig but I sometimes wrap my head or wore a baseball cap and straw hat (summer time) Lost brows/eyelashes other body hair....cool with that. But the last infusion had neuropathy and fatigue longer . I see a GYN Oncologist 5/7 internal exam went good...CT Scan good Dr wanted to hold off on radiation but go for consultation. I feel Blessed it is still a journey a head.

11 days agotoday was radiation #4 plus I got my first Keytruda maintenance infusion. Long day but I came home, took a short nap and woke up ready to go. Not gonna do much, just pick up and straighten up but you gotta take the energy when you can! I will be glad when the neuropathy goes away, it's just irritating!

8 hours agoI had a right nephrectomy in August 2024 for a stage 1 tumor. Thought I was in the clear, then I had to have a total hysterectomy Feb 2026 for endometrial cancer stage 1. Taking one day at a time now. It has been 5 months and my fingers are crossed.
