4 months agoDoes anyone take an immune booster while in treatment?

4 months agoThis is such an important question to discuss with your oncology team, as immune supplements can sometimes interact with cancer treatments in unexpected ways. Many people in cancer communities have wondered about this same thing, so you're definitely not alone in thinking about how to best support your body during treatment. Your medical team will have the best insight into what's safe and appropriate for your specific situation and treatment plan.

2 days agoHey! I'm glad you've found an approach that you feel good about. It's just worth remembering that supplements aren't risk-free or appropriate for everyone. Some can interact with cancer treatments, and certain antioxidants and herbal products have even been shown to reduce the effectiveness of chemotherapy in some situations. It's always a good idea for patients to review any supplements with their oncology team before adding them. 💛 Suzanne (Community Moderator)
