Why am I so anxious waiting for my biopsy results?

The anxiety during the waiting period is completely understandable and shared by many in this community who have faced similar uncertainty. This time between testing and results can feel overwhelming, but finding ways to stay grounded through relaxation techniques, connecting with supportive people, or engaging in gentle activities might help manage some of those racing thoughts. The community here understands this journey and is a place where these feelings and concerns can be shared openly with others who truly get it.

Hang in there. I thought mine was a hemorrhoid also. Turned out to be walnut size tumor. Went thru 33 days of radiation and two 5 days chemo treatments. Tumor is gone. God is so good.

Aloha Ashlie You’ll do just fine!! The chemo and radiation was rough at times but managed just fine with a positive attitude and sense of humor. (You’ll need that at times) but it’s empowering too! Just make yourself the priority. Sleep and rest when tired and try to eat as nutritiously as possible. You’ll like lose weight with treatment so small bites. Stay ahead of the nausea and diarrhea with meds and be proactive in asking for them. Stay hydrated and it will be over before you know it. It’s easy for our minds to go to the worst case scenario so reframe those “what ifs..to we shall see”… hopefully you have a strong support team with friends and family that helps.
