I have anal carcinoma and have been through treatment with Keytruda (pembrolizumab). I recently read about integrative oncology approaches that combine conventional treatments with lifestyle changes like walking, stress management, and breathing techniques. The article mentioned these can help manage treatment side effects and improve quality of life alongside medications like immunotherapy. I'm curious about others' experiences with adding these supportive approaches to their cancer care. It seems like small changes might make a difference, but I'd love to hear real experiences from people in similar situations. • Have you tried integrative approaches like mindfulness or gentle exercise during your cancer treatment, and did you notice any benefits? • What practical tips worked best for you when balancing treatment side effects with staying active or managing stress? Thank you for sharing your thoughtful question about integrative approaches during cancer treatment. Many people in the community have found that gentle activities like walking, mindfulness practices, and breathing exercises can be valuable complements to their medical care, helping with both side effects and overall well-being. These approaches are increasingly recognized by oncology teams as beneficial additions to conventional treatment plans. The experiences shared here by others who've navigated similar journeys with immunotherapy could provide helpful insights as you explore what supportive strategies might work best for your unique situation.

Yes walking on even ground definitely helps my mood and energy. Especially when I feel immobilized by side effects. Listening to music to relax and watching funny and touching videos make me happy. I am coming up on week 3 of treatment when I am sure all this will be challenged to a feature extent.
