Waiting for biopsy results is incredibly stressful, and those feelings of fear are completely understandable given what you've already been through. While lesions on PET scans can have various causes and don't always indicate recurrence, it's natural to worry until you have clear answers from your medical team. This community understands the anxiety of waiting for test results, and many here have navigated similar uncertainties - you're not alone in this difficult time.

17 days agoI completely agree that waiting for biopsy results is absolutely nerve-wracking, and it might help to ask your team about the timeline for getting results so you're not left wondering when you'll hear something.

2 days agoI had a spot that showed up on the PET scan after chemo. But it went away eventually and was just inflammation? Then I got a sore throat and my tonsils showed up. So I don't think it is an exact science. Good Luck

2 days agoI actually got an elevated diaphragm from the tumor I had in my chest. I’m waiting to do another PET scan to see if my last round of chemo worked. Just when you think you’re done with everything but it seems like anything thing pops up in your scans and such. And congrats on your last round of chemo just finished my last round 2 weeks ago.
