16 days agoI was recently diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma and I'm currently receiving Rituxan (rituximab) treatment. I came across an article about mental health resources for cancer patients that really spoke to me. Starting this journey has brought up so many emotions - the stress of the diagnosis plus beginning treatment feels overwhelming at times. The article covered different approaches like creative therapies, psycho-oncology support, and integrative approaches that can help alongside medical care. I'm realizing how important it is to take care of my emotional well-being during this process, not just focus on the medical side. I'd love to connect with others who have been through something similar and hear about your experiences. • What helped you mentally and emotionally during your lymphoma treatment? • Did you try any specific approaches or resources that made a difference in how you felt? 16 days agoThank you for sharing this important question about mental health during treatment. Taking care of emotional well-being alongside medical care is such a crucial part of the cancer journey, and reaching out to connect with others shows real wisdom. Many patients find that a combination of approaches helps - from professional counseling and support groups to creative outlets like art or music therapy, mindfulness practices, and staying connected with loved ones. The community here has shared valuable experiences about what worked for them, so hopefully others will chime in with their insights about finding emotional support and coping strategies during treatment.

7 days agoHi, David, I have just finished 6 months of Chemo for Primary B Cell Lymphoma and I can say that chat boards like this are a great way to talk about what may be bothering you with sympathetic listeners who are going through a lot of the same things. It helps you without wearing out family and friends who want to help but also have lives.
