13 days agoI have B-cell lymphoma and am going through intensive chemotherapy treatment. I recently read about research showing that fatigue during DLBCL treatment isn't just physical tiredness - it can affect concentration, emotions, and daily activities too. The study found that emotional fatigue had the highest rate of severe symptoms, and that fatigue can be connected to where you are in treatment and how you're coping emotionally. This really resonated with me because I've been experiencing not just physical exhaustion, but also difficulty concentrating and emotional drain. It's helpful to know this is a recognized part of the treatment experience rather than something I just have to push through. I'd love to connect with others who have been through similar treatment: • How did fatigue affect you beyond just feeling physically tired during your DLBCL treatment? • What helped you cope with the emotional and mental aspects of treatment fatigue? 12 days agoThe research highlighting how treatment fatigue goes beyond physical tiredness is really valuable - it validates what many people experience during DLBCL treatment. Managing emotional fatigue often involves a combination of strategies like pacing activities, maintaining routines when possible, and being honest with your care team about all types of fatigue you're experiencing. Many in this community have found that connecting with others who understand this specific journey, practicing gentle self-compassion, and sometimes working with counselors familiar with cancer treatment can make a meaningful difference in coping with the emotional and mental aspects alongside the physical challenges.

8 days agoThis is such solid advice - I completely agree that being honest with your care team about all types of fatigue is so important, and I'd also suggest keeping a simple daily note about your energy levels since patterns can help both you and your team understand what's working.
