Does reducing Xarelto affect MDS treatment outcomes with Vidaza?

I have intermediate level MDS and finishing 3rd round of Vidaza and Xario. I had recent L3-L5 fusion and the Xario causes very bad pain in the area of the fusion. The doctor cut back the Xario to twice in the week. Any thoughts on how this affect long-term outcome? The Vidaza is also nasty but I can handle that.

Balancing treatment effectiveness with quality of life is such a challenging part of managing MDS, and it sounds like you're dealing with a tough situation having to navigate both your cancer treatment and post-surgical pain. While only your medical team can assess how the Xarelto dose reduction might impact your specific treatment plan, many patients find that open communication with their oncologist about side effects and pain management helps them work together to find the best approach. Have others in the community had experience managing anticoagulation adjustments during their MDS treatment?
