14 days agoHi my name is Peggy I was diagnosed about 6 months ago with CLL/SLL non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hospitalized about a month ago with dehydration and high count of calcium. At which time they did a biopsy of a lump in my groin area and that came back with large B cell lymphoma. At which time I started chemo which was 3 weeks ago this Tuesday the 25 and on this day I am starting the red devil chemo treatment which I have been told is pretty tough. I also had biopsies of other lumps in that area and that was the CLL also a bone marrow biopsy. We shall see. Good luck to all.

14 days agoRed devil chemotherapy can be challenging, but many people find that knowing what to expect helps them prepare mentally and physically for the treatment. The community here has lots of experience with various chemo regimens and can offer practical tips for managing side effects and staying strong throughout treatment - consider sharing updates about how things are going so others can offer specific support and advice.

4 days agoHey, Peggy, I was diagnosed with Primary B cell Lymphoma in August, working through 6 rounds of Chemo every 21 days. I’m getting the Doxorubicin (red devil) as part of my mix and so far so good. My Oncologist told me by the numbers I am in remission already, but should finish treatments to be safe. Just wanted to say hang in there! You’ve got this! We are all in your corner!

a day agoI was diagnosed two years ago with the very same CLL/SLL. Found the B cell lymphoma and the also aspirated my bone marrow and found small white cell lymphocytic leukemia and I was extremely anemic. Have been taking a medication called Brukinsa for two months now and feeling much better… my immune system is still compromised and I can’t be in big crowds. But Brukinsa is a relatively new medicine that is a target therapy drug instead of chemo. Please ask your doctor and you also can read about it online. Mary Zierke
