4 days agoHello brothers and sisters in arms. I just finished radiotherapy, the chemotherapy to prep for Car T cell transplant, and finally the cell transplant, I'm responding very well to the transplant but I still have this nasty, metallic awful taste to beef, chicken, fish, salty food, and tomatoes. Is there a way to accelerate the return to normal taste in my mouth? Thank you in advance.

3 days agoTaste changes are a common side effect many people experience after treatment, and while it can be frustrating, taste often gradually improves over time as the body continues to heal. Many community members have found that staying hydrated, practicing good oral hygiene, and experimenting with different flavors and textures can help, though it's always best to discuss specific strategies with your medical team who knows your individual situation.
